Viktoria Azarenka said a tennis vaccine mandate would face legal hurdles: Is she correct?

In the wake of the Australian Open and fallout from Novak Djokovic's vaccine hold-out, sports lawyers say Viktoria Azarenka's comments that a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for the Women's Tennis Association ('WTA') tour would pose a legal 'challenge' are legally wide of the mark.

Ms Azarenka, who is a supporter of vaccines, made the well-intentioned comments when answering questions about a possible vaccine mandate for the WTA during the Australian Open tournament, she also serves as an ATP players council member.
