It has been a fortnight dominated by Russia in the news for its extensive sanctions leading to its isolation in the sporting world, following the events in Ukraine which followed on from- but were quickly enveloped by recent events- the Russian doping scandal from the Winter Olympics.

The world reaction to Russia's invasion of Ukraine has been swift. The list of sporting sanctions against Russia has become so vast it has become difficult to track.
